Trick Photography and Special Effects – Do you enjoy taking photographs but maybe getting a little bored with your skills and want to step it up to a higher level?  Well keep reading and I will tell you exactly how you can do that with some special effect and tricks of photography.

Many techniques that you can do to enhance the quality of your photos won’t cost you anything and you don’t have to have any special equipment.  All you need is a decent digital camera like a DLSR and a good quality tripod.  You probably already have some sort of software on your computer like Adobe Photoshop or maybe something free like Gimp.

This will be all you need to get started and once your start playing around with your images you will start to improve and that when you can think about investing in a higher quality camera or more expensive software.

Trick Photography and Special Effects

The first image trick I want to talk about is called forced perspective photos.  Have you ever seen an image of someone that looks like they are holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa?  Well this is what is called forced perspective, and this camera trick is probably the most used of them all.

There are a number of variations you can use that will create interesting images using forced perspective.  For example, holding up a person with only your hands or making yourself look taller than a building.  There are countless objects you can use to create some exciting images.

Another

you can try is called tilt shift photography.  To do this you have to tilt and shift your camera lens so that you can achieve a selective focus.

You might have seen this before in photos where certain parts of the image is very clear but other sections are gradually get blurred.  What this does is create an illusion that some images look like miniature toys.

In order to get this done you will need a special camera lens that have tilt and shift capabilities, but this can also be done using some software.

I have recently seen some smartphone’s that have apps that will do the exact same thing.

The thing that you need to remember is to have fun and take photos when you travel or with you’re with family and friends.

It sure is exciting to have a little fun with trick photography and special effects with some of your images that you have taken.
